Check-in starts at 9 a.m., and those interested in competing can pre-register over the phone at (785) 234-5809. Registration also will be accepted on the day of the tournament. Limited fishing poles will be available, so anglers are asked to bring their own, if possible.
Prizes will be awarded for largest fish weight, heaviest panfish (bluegill or perch), youngest fisherman to catch a fish and oldest senior fishing.

BNSF FAMILY DAY TO INCLUDE CRAPPIE TOURNAMENT, BBQ COMPETITION — The BNSF Family Fun Day is set for Sept. 21-22 at Clinton Lake Camp No. 3, with a crappie tournament and a friendly BBQ Battle planned for the event.
There will be a $100 entry fee per team to get involved in either the fishing tournament or the BBQ competition. The Battle will be judged on the categories of Brisket, Pulled Pork, Ribs and Side.
The crappie tournament will award prizes for first, second and third place and a big fish award.
