The workshop session will include reviews of the recommended webless migratory bird seasons, threatened and endangered species regulations and deer seasons on Fort Riley, Fort Leavenworth and Smoky Hill Air National Guard. The afternoon session will take a brief recess at 5 p.m. and reconvene for the evening session at 6:30 p.m. for the public hearing. During that time, commissioners will vote on whether to approve recommended waterfowl seasons and public land regulations.
A live video and audio feed of the meeting will be available on the KDWPT website, ksoutdoors.com.
After Thursday’s meeting, the next commission meeting is slated for June 22 at the George Meyn Community Center, 126th and State Avenue in Bonner Springs.
