A white vehicle slammed into the giant ungulate, sending it airborne. The car's windshield was shattered and it's front end damaged, but the moose was able to get up and limp away, according to Whitehead.
Whitehead posted the video to her YouTube channel, where it has since amassed nearly 1.8 million views.
"Be careful driving mountain roads- watch for wildlife," Whitehead said on her post. "When you see a bunch of cars pulled over near 'watch for wildlife' signs, there's probably an animal near the road."
