Dariusz Ordzowialy, of Poland, finished first in the individual portion of the tournament after catching 66 total fish for a total score of 51,200. Valentine Meister, of France, finished second, followed by Felipe de Mingo, of Spain; Emilio Saint Aman, of France; and Szymon Konieczny, of Poland.
Grant Hawse was the top-scoring American, finishing seventh with 52 fish for a total score of 39,240. Other Americans competing in the championship included Mike Komara, 13th; Seth Drake, 22nd; Evan Vanek, 23rd; and Douglas Freemann, 26th.
Among the eligible species to catch were rainbow trout, brown trout, grayling, European chubs, barbel, cactus roach and nace.
