For those looking to compete in archery, or even just sharpen their bow skills for hunting season, T.H.E. Archery Club at S.W. 97th and Topeka Boulevard in Wakarusa unveiled its 2018 shoot schedule recently.
The club will start with a pair of regular 40-target 3D shoots, which run March 24-25 and April 28-29. It then will host the Wakarusa Valley Traditional Rendezvous from June 2-3. Registration for the Rendezvous will begin at 8 a.m., and there is a $15 entry fee for adults with children 12 and under free.
It will host another regular shoot that month — June 23-24 — and one the following month — July 28-29 during the Sunflower State Games — before the next special event.
The Williamsport Classic runs Aug. 25-26 and also will have a $15 entry fee for adults. Registration for that event also begins at 8 a.m. Finally, it will host a Whitetail Warm-up regular shoot Sept. 22-23.
