The Smoky Hill Outdoor Youth Festival will take place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 26 at the Smoky Hill Weapons Range, 8429 West Farrelly Road in Salina.
Youths ages 6 to 17 years old are invited to attend the one-day event and must be accompanied by an adult. Paricipants will receive hands-on instruction on a variety of outdoor sports and equipment, including fishing, archery, muzzleloaders, pellet guns, shotguns, paintball guns and more. All events will be supervised and held in a safe location, and all materials are provided.
