The Ninnescah Sailing Association will offer “Learning to Sail” courses this summer at Cheney State Park.
Participants 18 and older can choose between courses beginning June 19 or July 17, or take a basic keelboat course Aug. 11.
Adult courses are $195 for NSA members and $250 for nonmembers, with the keelboat course costing $75 for members and $125 for nonmembers. Youths can choose between camps offered July 9-13 or July 23-27.
Course fees include life jackets and sailboat usage, course materials and safety equipment.

The Shawnee Yacht Club also will offer free sailboat rides from noon to 4 p.m. Monday at Lake Shawnee.
