Permits will cost $42.50 for general residents, $22.50 for resident landowners/resident tenants, $12.50 for resident youths (15 and younger) and $87.50 for nonresident tenants. Antlerless-only permits will cost $22.50 for general residents and $10 for resident youths, and Hunt-Own-Land permits are $22.50.
Youth and disability deer season begins Sept. 8 and runs through Sept. 16 in Kansas. Muzzleloader season runs Sept. 17-Sept. 30 and archery season runs Sept. 17-Dec. 31. The regular firearm season is set for Nov. 28 through Dec. 9, with a one-day whitetail antlerless-only extended firearms season Jan. 1 in Units 6, 8, 9, 10, 16 and 17 (most of northeast Kansas).
