Entrance to Kansas’s 26 state parks to be free of charge for Black Friday as part of #OptOutside movement
The Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism announced this week that it will offer free entrance to all Kansas state parks on Black Friday, Nov. 24, as part of the #OptOutside movement.
The agency, in partnership with REI, invites parkgoers to be part of the movement by posting a picture of themselves and their family at one of the 26 state parks to Instagram or Twitter with the hashtags #myksstatepark and #optoutside. Those who participate will be entered into a drawing for a free cabin stay.
