The team event is open to everyone, and anglers will be able to register in either the “Pro” and “Amateur” division, with cash paybacks in the pro division and prizes in the amateur and a cash payback for Big Fish in both.
Registration will take place from 5 to 6:30 a.m. at Bucksaw Marina. Anglers may also pre-register for the event online at http://www.crappiemasters.net or at the Everharts Outdoor Store in Clinton. The entry fee is $60 per team.
Fishing will begin at 6:30 a.m., and anglers must quit fishing by 3 p.m. and weigh in at the marina by 4 p.m. A maximum of seven crappie may be weighed, with a minimum-length limit of nine inches. In conjunction, a silent auction will take place at 5 p.m. the day before at the Benson Convention Center, 1008 E. Sedalia Ave. in Clinton, Mo., followed by a live auction at 8 p.m., with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the Clinton Police Department.
